Los misterios de Nerea es el último libro de mi hija. Hay otros dos en el primer cajón de su dormitorio. Este es el primero que decide compartir y para el que ha pedido ayuda para editar y publicar. Como tengo claro que a los niños hay que escucharlos y tomarlos en serio, no puedo por menos que anunciar este proyecto con alegría, coincidiendo con la culminación del doble grado de su hermano mayor que precisamente hoy pone el broche de oro a un curriculum académico y humano impresionante.
No lo tienen fácil los jovenes en esta época de cambios y tecnologías. Cada día es más difícil leer y escribir, cada vez es más difícil ser humano. Pero aun así hay pequeños milagros. Que una niña de nueve años haya leído más de 25 libros este año y nos comparta una obra de misterio es una luz en la oscuridad. Qué un joven decida formarse en ciencias ambientales y geografía también. Quizá no brillen tanto como la esplendida torre inaugurada hoy en la Sagrada Familia, pero los que saben leer los signos de los tiempos conocen el valor que para los perdidos puede llegar a tener una pequeña estrella en el cielo nocturno.
El pequeño libro está publicado en Amazon y se puede acceder a su versión electrónica de forma gratuita desde hoy día 10 de junio hasta el domingo 14, por si lo quieren compartir con los pequeños de la familia. También lo tienen disponible en papel, en letra grande apta para chavales de primaria y para abuelos que lo quieran leer a sus nietos.
Con el Papa en la Ciudad Condal merece la pena recordar la creatividad de Gaudí que sigue expresándose más allá de su muerte. Hoy lo hablaba con mi residente en la consulta, sin creatividad nos hacemos rehenes de los automatismos y nos condenamos a repetir conductas, jornadas y patrones. Perdemos la espontaneidad y frescura de los niños, nos esclerosamos y volvemos grises. Por eso los creadores mantienen jóvenes sus mentes y corazones. Por eso los pequeños nos pueden inspirar con sus juegos y creaciones. Espero que, pese a todo, podamos mantener ese asombro y hagamos nuestra esa capacidad de abrirnos a lo nuevo.
Nerea’s Mysteries
Nerea’s Mysteries is my daughter’s latest book. There are two others in the top drawer of her bedroom. This is the first one she has decided to share, and for which she has asked for help to edit and publish. Since it is perfectly clear to me that children must be listened to and taken seriously, I cannot help but announce this project with joy. It coincides with the graduation of her older brother, who precisely today puts the crowning touch to an impressive academic and human curriculum.
Young people do not have it easy in this era of changes and technology. Every day it becomes harder to read and write; every time it is harder to be human. Yet, even so, small miracles happen. The fact that a nine-year-old girl has read more than 25 books this year and is sharing a mystery story with us is a light in the darkness. The fact that a young man decides to train in environmental sciences and geography is too. Perhaps they do not shine as brightly as the splendid tower inaugurated today at the Sagrada Família, but those who know how to read the signs of the times understand the value that a tiny star in the night sky can hold for those who are lost.

With the Pope in the Catalan capital, it is worth remembering Gaudí's creativity, which continues to express itself long after his death. I was discussing this today with my registrar in the GP surgery: without creativity, we become hostages to automatisms and condemn ourselves to repeating behaviours, routines and patterns. We lose the spontaneity and freshness of children; we become sclerotic and turn grey. That is why creators keep their minds and hearts young. That is why little ones can inspire us with their games and creations. I hope that, despite everything, we can hold onto that sense of wonder and embrace that capacity to open ourselves up to the new.

《内蕾娅的秘密》是我女儿写的最新一本书。在她卧室的第一个抽屉里还有另外两本。这是她第一本决定分享出来的书，并且为此请求了帮助来进行编辑和出版。我很清楚，对于孩子，我们必须倾听并认真对待，因此我禁不住满怀喜悦地宣布这个项目。恰逢今天，她的哥哥完成了双学位学业，为他令人瞩目的学术与人文履历画上了完美的句号。
